The loch continues to fish well with buzzers – black, brown and apple green - fished on a floating line being the best method. The fish are lying fairly high in the water (4 – 5ft). The anglers who prefer lures are doing ok with a dark olive damsel being the favourite.
The fish are in superb condition. Geordie Black had six fish for 18lbs George Peline, who comes through regularly from Glasgow had, along with his partner, 12 fish for 37 lbs. Most of the clubs at the weekend did well. Edinburgh PO had 38 fish for 108lbs – best fish 7lb 4oz; Aberdour AC had 47 fish for 127lbs and Midlothian AC managed 36 fish for 97lbs.
