There were 19 boats out in the past week with 28 rods, 14 fish were kept, weighing 49 lbs, and 101 fish were returned. Fish were taking buzzers, Blobs, Rabbits, Cormorants, Fabs, Cat Boobies and Ally McCoist patterns.
The weeds in the Loch are now starting to recede and the algae have now cleared with the clarity greatly improving.
The best catches during the week were by Mr Graham who returned 14 fish on a Di3 with mini snakes on Monday braving the torrential rain. Out on Tuesday Nigel Muckle with his brother returned 21 trout caught mostly on Blobs and Rabbits using a Di3, Gavin Dunn had a great day returning 15 fish caught on a Dennis the Menace Buzzer while George Mackintosh with Oliver Sneddon kept 4 Rainbows weighing 12 lbs and returned 4 - photo of one of his fish.
Thursday saw Tam Easton returning 15 taking Olive Snakes and Ian Dobbie returning 18 caught on Buzzers, both fishing solo. On Friday, Gavin Dunn with Jim Mackie kept 4 fish weighing 14 lbs, being the best catch of the day.
The weekend saw Gavin out again with Jimmy Russell being the best catch with 10 trout returned taken on a Midge Tip with a Tequila Fab.
