Linlithgow Loch Catch Report – 25/08/2025 –31/08/2025

It was a very quiet week, with only 14 boats out and 20 fish returned. The best fishing lines to use were Floating, Midge Tip, Sink Tip, and Intermediate lines. Effective lures included blobs, diawl bachs, cormorants, and UV crunchers in black/green or orange/green.

The top catches for the week were as follows:

Monday to Friday: - Robin Smith, George Mackintosh, and Gavin Dunn fished with Jimmy Russell, with Robin catching 4 fish and Gavin catching 6.

Saturday: - Kevin Evans released 3 trout in a 4-hour fishing session.

Sunday: - Marty Nelson managed to net one rainbow trout, while Jimmy Russell, fishing with his son James, returned 6 fish.
