Linlithgow Loch Fishery, Catch Report – 01/07/2024 –07/07/2024

There were 15 boats out over the week with 25 anglers; no fish were kept as all the anglers were on Catch & Release, and 28 fish were returned. Water clarity is still excellent, and although the weed is near the surface in some areas, there are still plenty of fishable areas. The changing cool weather and atmospheric pressures made it a hard week for anglers.

Linlithgow Loch Fishery, catch report: The best catches for the week were by;

Ali Fyvie George Mackintosh returned 5 using chartreuse Blobs.

East Kilbride AC, fishing the Loch for the first time, released 21 trout into the Loch; they were pleased with the quality and size of the fish; some weights ranged from 4 to 6 Lbs. Their tactics were mainly Di5’s and M/Tips using Blobs, Cormorants and Snakes.

Ali Fyvie and Jimmy Russell returned 2 Rainbows being caught with a Di3 line.
