Over the week, 24 boats were out with 44 anglers, 22 fish weighing 69¼ lbs were kept, and 109 fish were returned. Midge-tip, sink-tip, and intermediate lines were used with blobs, cormorants, black/green lures, Humungus, and snakes (especially pink), which were successful setups.
The best catches for Saturday using the right tactics were by;
Marty Nelson returned 5 Rainbows, Ken Wood kept 4 for 12 lbs 10 oz, Andy Lumsden kept 4 weighing 12½ lbs, Tam Robertson kept 3 fish for 9 lbs, Gavin Dunn and Jimmy Russell returned 10 trout, see photo of Jim's 6lb over wintered Rainbow

Robin Smith with George Mackintosh kept 1 fish weighing 2¼ lbs and returned 6 Rainbows.
There were some excellent catches on Saturday with Waders AC catching eight trout that weighed 25 pounds, the heaviest weighing in at 14 pounds 13 ounces, see photo, they also returned one fish.

Mr. Burns and his son returned three fish, but dropped four and missed a few takes. Three boats were booked by Mr Kelly and his friends to fish the loch, and they returned 23 fish. John Walker with two boats out, returned 26 fish, while Steven Borwick returned 6 with his boat partner. Five trout were returned to the Loch by Mr Skedd fishing from the north bank.
On Sunday, Jimmy Russell was out with Ali Fyvie and returned 8 trout, Mr McAdam and his boat partner returned 6 Rainbows, meanwhile, Mark Lawton fishing a different area of the Loch returned 1 fish.
