Over the week, there were 20 boats out with 31 anglers, 17 fish were kept, weighing 59¼ Lbs, and 40 fish were returned. Successful lines were Floating, Intermediate, M/tip, and Sinking lines. Flies catching were Cormorants, Blobs (mostly orange), Buzzers, Kate McLaren and a Jinky Booby.

Linlithgow Loch Fishery, catch report: The best catches for the week were by;

Ali Fyvie George Mackintosh kept 2 fish for 6 Lbs using chartreuse Blobs.

Nigel Muckle, fishing solo, returned 5 trout, Gavin Dunn with Jimmy Russell kept 2 weighing 7 Lbs and returned 10 fish. Robin Smith and George Mackintosh returned 6 Rainbows to the Loch.

Out on an evening session, Falkirk Municipal AC with 4 boats kept 11 fish weighing 38¼ Lbs and Ricky Wilson kept 2 fish for 8Lbs.

The Fairley family were out on Saturday with James' son Scott and grandsons Graham and Leo, ages 11 and 9, respectively. Leo managed to net 2 Rainbows before his granddad, who eventually netted a couple. Scott and son Graham managed to hook into 5 fish for the day; their tactics were mainly intermediate lines with yellow dancers and pink snakes. Good going for the boys who have never fished the Loch before - see photos/videos.
