Linlithgow Loch Catch Report – 07/07/2025 –13/07/2025

Over the week, 27 boats and 36 anglers were out; 10 fish weighing 32 lbs were kept, and 93 fish were returned.

The successful setups were Midge-Tip, Sink-Tip, Di5 and Di7 lines with blobs, boobies, buzzers/muskins, Diawl Bachs, snakes, and lures.

Monday to Friday:

Donald McIvor and a friend caught 4 fish weighing 11 lbs 2 oz. Tam Easton returned 3 trout within his 4 hours of fishing. Gavin Dunn, along with Jimmy Russell, released 5 Rainbows. Ali Fyvie, out for 4 hours, kept 2 fish weighing 5½ lbs. Andy Lumsden and his partner caught 3 fish weighing 12 lbs.

Nigel Muckle returned 14 fish, Graham Hoggan released 5, Ian Dobbie returned 14 fish, and Tam McIntyre released 3 trout into the Loch.

Saturday: George Pellini released 12 trout, all caught using a sink-tip with buzzers and a damsel pattern; they were in the deep hole, 15 –20 feet down.

Sunday: Jimmy Russell returned 14 fish; Ian Dobbie released 18 trout, again caught in the hole.
