Over the week, 19 boats and 32 anglers were out; 56 fish weighing 173 lbs were kept, and 88 fish were returned. The successful setups used floating and Di7 lines with blobs/fabs, buzzers/muskins, Diawl Bachs, black/green lures (esp. Black Mamba), and dries.

Monday to Friday:
Charlie McGrath with Nigel Muckle released 5 trout, Tam Easton returned 15 Rainbows all caught on dries including top hats, Marty Nelson kept 2 fish for 7¾ lbs, Gavin Dunn netted an 8 lb Brownie having taken a hairs ear fly, it which was safely returned – see photo.

Rosyth Dock Yard AC’s 6 anglers kept 16 fish weighing 49 lbs, Gavin Dunn and Jimmy Russell returned 10 trout.
Saturday: A quiet day due to the jousting being on at the Palace. Wellington AC out with three boats released 12 Rainbows, they also dropped a few fish.
Sunday: Jimmy Russell kept 1 fish for 4 lbs 2 oz and returned 10 - see photos of 2 of his catches -
Alan McGregor returned 8 trout, Mr Lewis and partner fished deeper with a Di7 and returned 4 fish caught with an Ally McCoist pattern. Stevie Burke out with his mate kept 4 trout for 12 lbs 6 oz and returned 9, Ian Dobbie released 7 trout, Craig Dalgleish returned 2 fish using a floating line and black hoppers.
