Linlithgow Loch Catch Report – 30/09/2024 –06/10/2024

Over the week there were 16 boats out with 33 anglers, 25 fish were kept weighing 85 ½ Lbs, 23 fish were returned. Anglers were saying there was plenty of fish moving and some caught were dropped near the net.

The best catch for the week using the right tactics were by;

Robin Smith with George Mackintosh kept 4 trout weighing 13 Lbs using a F/ l with Silver Butchers and Candy Boobies, they dropped a few fish and George lost a good 5-6 Lb trout. – see George’s photos.

Heriot AC with 3 boats returned 9 fish, while Dunfermline Rusty Nail AC returned 5 Rainbows to the Loch. Tam Robinson fishing solo returned 3 trout; he got snapped off with a heavy weight Rainbow.

Farmers & Assoc AC’s 6 anglers kept 14 fish weighing 51½ Lbs. Jimmy Russell fishing with Ali Fyvie kept 2 Rainbows – see photo.

Scott Rutherford and boat partner returned 5 Pike including one at double figures.
