Total rods out: 27. Total fish caught, 76 (22 kept, 54 released). Total weight of kept fish: 63¼ lbs.
Weather conditions: warm bright sunshine with a changing wind.
Best tactics: Using Floating, Midge-Tip and Sink -Tip lines.
Flies used:
The most effective flies for the week included: Buzzers, Dries, Cormorants, Muskins, Crunchers, Fabs and various nymphs. Again, Buzzers,dries and Muskins were the most successful.

Monday to Friday
Stewart Sneddon fishing solo returned 3 trout; Charlie McGrath released 6 fish; Marty Nelson kept 2 fish for 6 ¼ lbs and returned 4; Ali Fyvie and his partner out for four hrs kept 2 fish weighing 6 lbs and released 2; Stuart Penman and partner kept 3 for 8 lbs; Robin Smith out with Ian McDoigall kept 4 fish weighing 10 lbs and returned 2, Gavin Dunn and Tam Robinson out for 4 hrs released 4 Rainbows, Brian Dempsey our for a few hours evening fishing returned 2 fish.
Saturday
Provisional Grand Lodge of Stirlingshire found it hard going keeping 8 trout weighing 26 lbs 6 oz, Connor Wilson came first with a Rainbow weighing 7 lbs 3 oz having taken a yellow dancer on a 6’ sink tip – see photos,
Cameron Brown with Jim McMeechan took second prize with the most fish caught – see photo.

Ian Dobbie returned 7 fish including a Rainbow weighing 7 lbs using a floating line with dries including crippled midge patterns – see photo

Sunday:
A quiet day with the gusts and rain forecasted. Jimmy Russell and Gavin Dunn managed to return a couple of trout; Ian Dobbie out again returned 6 fish using dries including hoppers.
