Weekly Fishing Report


It was a very quiet week at Linlithgow Loch, with only 14 boats out and 20 fish returned. Despite the calm, anglers still had some success. The best fishing lines to use were Floating, Midge Tip, Sink Tip, and Intermediate lines. Effective lures included blobs, diawl bachs, cormorants, and UV crunchers in black/green or orange/green.


The best catches for the week using the right tactics were by;


Monday to Friday:

Robin Smith, George Mackintosh, and Gavin Dunn fished with Jimmy Russell. Robin caught 4 fish, while Gavin managed to catch 6.


Saturday:

Kevin Evans released 3 trout during a 4-hour fishing session.


Sunday:

Marty Nelson managed to net one rainbow trout. Meanwhile, Jimmy Russell, fishing with his son James, returned 6 fish.
