There were 21 boats out in the past week with 27 rods, 11 fish were kept, weighing 36 lbs, and 72 fish were returned. Fish were taking buzzers, crunchers, muskins, diawl bach's, fabs, also, various dries, snakes, humungous and boobies.
The weeds in the Loch are now starting to recede and the algae have now cleared with the clarity greatly improving.
The best catches during the week were by Mr Graham who returned 12 fish on a Di3 with mini snakes, Trevor Gibson who kept 4 rainbows weighing 11 lbs 12oz and released 19 fish using Dennis the Menace buzzers, Ali Fyvie and George Mackintosh both returned 4 rainbows to the loch.
On Sunday, Trevor Gibson was out again keeping 2 rainbows for 6 lbs and releasing 15 - see photos.
