There were 56 boats out over the week, 91 fish were kept, weighing 225 lbs, and 249 fish were returned. Water clarity is excellent, evident by the number of fish being netted and dropped. The best tactics again were: Midge-Tip, Di3 Fast Glass, and Intermediate lines. Flies doing the taking were Buzzers, Candy Boobies, Diawl Bachs, Muskins, black & green Lures, orange Blobs, Fabs, and Cats, also, successful were mini-Lures and Snakes.
The best catches Monday-Friday were by;
On Monday Keith Anderson and his partner kept 2 fish for 4 Lbs 9 oz and returned 3, Mr Edwards out on his own returned 6 Rainbows into the Loch.
SPRA East AC on Tuesday returned 19 fish.
On Wednesday, Tam Easton with his boat partner kept 4 fish for 14½ Lbs – see photos.
Mr Milne had a good day returning 7 trout. Alan McGregor fishing with his dad returned 3 fish saying the wind changing all the time seemed to have put the fish off.
Thursday saw Matt Neilson fishing solo returning 4 fish.
Friday was a good day for Gavin Dunn and Jimmy Russell who returned 20 rainbows, Nigel Muckle and partner returned 6 trout while Graham Hoggan on his own returned 14 on size 14 Candy Cat and Muskins. Freddie Padden and Robin Smith out on their own managed to net and return 3 Rainbows each.

Linlithgow Rose FC’s seven anglers kept 4 trout weighing 10½ Lbs, returning 15. Bank of Scotland East out in two boats kept 5 Rainbows for 14 Lbs 14 oz and returned 3.
Sunday saw Ferry Fly Fishers seven anglers keeping 21 fish weighing 62½ Lbs and returning 14 including an 8 Lb Brownie. Dunfermline Railway AC kept 7 trout for 20½ Lbs while Kelty Artisan AC with 3 boats kept 10 Rainbows weighing 36½ Lbs. Gavin Dunn and partner kept 2 fish for 6¾ Lbs and returned 3, Ali Fyvie with Jimmy Russell kept 2 trout weighing 6½ Lbs, returning 8 fish into the Loch.
